Super honored to share a new one for the amazing @sigurros in Portland tonight. This one is a seven-color screenprint. Ever since Ágætis byrjun came out over 25 years ago this band has had a special place in my life. I used to go jogging to the first half of “( )” back in my self destructive college days and think about how I was gonna do better (it’s a weirdly slow album to get pumped up to, but incredibly inspiring!). Everytime I’ve seen this band live it has been a transcendent experience. Ok, enough from me. If anyone is interested I’ll have a few APs available in my store tomorrow morning at 10AM PST. 🤍
I had the honor of creating the poster for @billystrings tonight in Eugene, OR. This was my attempt to encapsulate the beauty of this town and the lush nature all around us. I was particularly inspired by hikes up Spencer Butte, when you get above the clouds and can see distant mountains peeking through. And bike rides down the Fern Ridge Path where I inevitably see a majestic heron in the same spot every time. I drew this one with ink on 9” x 12” Bristol paper before coloring it in Procreate. They were gorgeously printed by the wizards at @ladylazarustx .
I’ll have artist copies available at 11AM PST tomorrow (8/24) on my website. Thanks always for looking!
Here’s a little album my band @gazellesband recorded two years ago just before our guitar player Tim moved out to Baltimore (we miss him!). We were waiting for album art which I finally conquered last weekend. I made a couple attempts throughout the last year that warranted interesting results, but nothing felt quite right. I finally decided to sit down with zero ideas and just draw until something interesting emerged, much like how we write our music.
This is now available on our bandcamp (link in bio) and will be up on all the streaming sites shortly. We recorded this one at Isaac Brock’s Ice Cream Party in Portland with the amazing @brandoneggleston sculpting the sound. It was amazing being in that studio as I’ve been a huge fan of Modest Mouse since grabbing the Interstate 8 EP on a whim in high school. Still remember me and my buddies peeling away from the high school parking lot to skip class and get Waffle House while singing along to “you could really get it on, you could really get it ON!” at the top of our lungs.
I digress! This band has been kicking around since 2015 and I’ve shared some of my favorite musical moments with my insanely talented bandmates. The Gazelle(s) moniker is being retired but the three of us still in Eugene will be continuing on as Sensail, debuting with our first show in Eugene on 9/26 with our good friends @amberabedo , @glazier and more. Follow @gazellesband for more info! Thanks for listening! 💛
I made a @puscifer poster for their show in Portland tonight! These were beautifully printed by @brokenpressdesign . I’ll have APs available tomorrow morning at 10AM PST on my website for anyone that wants one. Thanks!! #gigposter #puscifer #illustration
New diptych for @billystrings and his back-to-back shows in Athens, GA this weekend. I’ve never done a vertical diptych so this was fun to conceptualize. I based it in on the “tree that owns itself” in Athens, as well as on the precarious relationship between foxes and coyotes. Almost a “hometown” show for me. Growing up in Atlanta, we used to head to Athens for shows at the 40 Watt from time to time. I got headbutted by Wesley Willis there once.
I’ll have APs available Monday morning at 10AM PST (1PM Georgia time). I don’t have them in hand yet but they’ll ship as soon as I do. Thanks for looking!

Here’s a recent one celebrating 50 years of Eugene’s awesome independent music and arts venue, WOW Hall. So much history in this room. Aside from playing it a few times, I’ve also gotten to see so many heavy hitters at this place; Shellac, Built to Spill, Mount Eerie, Yob and so many more. Truly a unique and special place. Thanks to the team at WOW Hall and the awesome @sky_hawke for having me. Drop by the venue to pick one up!
A little 4” x 6” drawing heading to @atelier.ghostbirds in Portugal; a very cool gallery started by my good friend @mika.aono . They’re having a postcard-size art show called “Fragments of What Makes Us Alive”. Be sure to stop by if you find yourself in Portugal!
Mystery Tube time!! I haven’t done one of these in six years, so it definitely feels like it’s time. I’ve got three different tubes you can choose from based on how much you like or dislike shiny paper. Happy to take suggestions (to a point) if you wanna steer me in a certain direction. Also, gonna try and list some originals and rare stuff at a discount over the next week, so keep your eye out if that’s your thing. Store link in bio!
I made a @minusthebear poster for last night’s show in Portland. Endless thanks to @brokenpressdesign for having me on this one and for the expert printing. Fun fact: my little spacey rock band ::tin tin:: opened for Minus the Bear (and Milemarker) at the University of Colorado campus venue, Club 156, way back in 2003, long before I ever had a dream of making drawings and posters.
I’ll have some AP copies of this one available tomorrow morning at 10AM PST on my website. Thanks!!
