The vivid, satirical worlds that Brecht Vandenbroucke creates, blend pop-cultural imagery with sharp social critique. His work draws on Disney cartoons and surrealism, resulting in dense scenes packed with humour and bright colours. Vandenbroucke examines themes such as social inequality, digital culture, consumerism, and the absurdity of modern life. His illustrations have appeared in The New York Times, Wired, and Variety, and in his comic books ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ ๐พ๐ช๐๐ (2013) and ๐๐๐๐๐ฎ (2021).
