The trip to @mancoscommonpress isn’t over yet but I’m beyond happy with the group of prints completed! It does take me a while to collect my thoughts about a project after I complete it, but I will say I allowed myself room to play, learn new methods and allow room for pivots. 25 year old me would have said “what do you mean you don’t know what you’re doing before you go?” But it feels wonderful to just have room to play within only loose parameters.

Stick a fork in this one, she’s done! This is not the best documentation, and it’s not every spread, but dang I’m proud of myself for sticking with this long and often hard project.
It’s strange to hold this in two hands. 36 prints (double sided pages and fold outs, 93 screen layers, 5 linocut blocks and at least 3 meltdowns. I haven’t bound and editioned them all yet but I think I have twenty 😅😅😅

I tried something different that I just keep calling the “double drop”- printing the key in very transparent color first to help with registration and then full saturation later. Anyone know if that already has a name?
Now to figure out the back of this book (yes, this is a book 😬)

Re-doing my lasercut project and making new demos, adding pochoir! Are these books? 😉 These got a little “extra” but that’s kind of how I feel about working with pochoir. I’m excited to see what they doooooo!
