Did I have to transport all of these pieces individually and show up nearly an hour late to my own shoot? Yes. But IT WAS WORTH IT. Enfant de l’extravagent The way in which I have been DYING to show you these images from a lovely test shoot last year. You’ve probably noticed me dropping them in some collages before we released them and that’s just because I feel like they’re some of the best styling and images I’ve ever done/been part of! I got the idea from wanting to do a shoot where the model was only wearing balaclavas/hoods, and it all just bloomed from there. And speaking of bloom I was so overjoyed getting to work with the amazing @thepaperpetalstudio and their floral stands. Sometimes you have an idea or get inspired by a certain piece and gotta do an entire shoot around it Also don’t come at me if the title is grammatically incorrect ok I’m just trusting google translate with this one. Extra Extra, Read All About It! Me?!? Nominated for a VIP Style Award?!?! More likely than you think. If you haven’t heard, I’m nominated in the Fave Irish Stylist category, cause when it’s right, it’s right and here’s my very informal campaign on why I should win! But if we’re to #/bereal, this is such a massive achievement. For the past year and a half, having my work recognised, approved, and now deemed worthy of an award by one of Ireland’s leading magazines is crazy. Is this presentation silly, unnecessary, and wildly inappropriate for a formal award? Absolutely, but I wouldn’t have it any other way :-) (thank u @kiara._.murph for the edit) Personally, I think you should throw me a vote today, and then tomorrow, and then every day up until the 15th of May.
