Super excited to share our soundtrack release today for Tales From Outer Suburbia. From page to screen to sound - the dreamlike music of Tales from Outer Suburbia is now available as an Official Series Soundtrack, inviting listeners to step inside the surreal sonic landscape of the beloved animated series.
Author and Series Creative Director @shauncytan praised the way the music expanded his stories into a new medium.
“The soundtrack captures the essence of what I was trying to explore in the illustrations - the magic hidden in everyday suburban life. It’s wonderful to see how the same story can be told in different forms: first as a book, then a television series, and now through music.”

When @kylehugall ran this script past me it made me laugh out loud.
Clever & classic. No frills, no bad ideas dressed up in crash zooms and snorkel lens'. Just good old fashioned great writing executed with care and restraint. A simple story of a man in need, who has found himself at the hardware store.

Thrilled to release our original soundtrack to the 2 part documentary series Folau this week on all streaming platforms. We worked closely with the amazing @ofa_fotu to bring a hybrid electronic-acoustic led score that features a Tongan men’s choir, epic Pasifika percussion, hints of drill beats and soaring strings. All the emotions that follow the rise and fall of Folau in this nuanced documentary.
