From Enugu town we drove down to Ezeagu for farmland inspection, then back to Presidential Hotel just to chill. Enugu is a home for both work and relaxation.
Catching them young. We were at Award lesson center at Abakpa to spur the students into action by exploring the things outside their agricultural curriculum. Unfamiliar agricultural practices like Sack - farming, Hydroponics and Agribusiness.
SHE LEADS Women Grow Freedom Network
Day 2
On the 14th of February, the Enugu State Young Farmers Association @ensyfa collaborated with Students for Liberty to carry out the practical session on sack farming for women in Enugu. They were taught how to grow crops using sacks and soil. We were also able to gift participants farming starter packs after the training.
I say a big thank you to the Enugu State Young Farmers Society for working with us to make this dream a reality.
Have you ever wanted to learn an agricultural skill but felt limited by lack of land or resources? This is for you.
She Leads: Women Grow Freedom Network is a two-day empowerment workshop designed to equip women in Enugu with: • Practical entrepreneurship skills • Hands-on sack farming training • Tools for economic independence
At the end of the workshop, sack farming starter packs will be provided to participants.
