A strange thing happened… we decided to do a podcast episode about me. 🤍🎙️ For the first time, I was the guest rather than the one asking the questions, and honestly, it felt incredibly vulnerable. I spend so much of my life bringing people together, creating events, supporting charities, building ideas, opening doors for others and sharing their stories I rarely stop to think about my own. ✨ But this conversation made me reflect on just how much life can shape us. The highs, the heartbreaks, the moments where everything changes overnight, the mistakes, the resilience, the juggling of family, fundraising, business and trying to keep going when things feel impossible. We talked about the reality behind over 30 years of events and fundraising, raising more than £4 million for causes close to my heart, the pressures, the lessons, the chaos, the laughter and the reason I created Eat Nourish Love and now The ENL Collective. 🌿 What I realised whilst recording this is that so many of us are carrying far more than people realise. We are all trying to figure things out whilst still showing up every day. 🤍 If there’s one thing I truly believe, it’s this: Hard work, belief and tenacity really can change your life. 💫 And sometimes the smallest step forward ends up changing everything. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, believed in me and walked beside me over the years. I cannot tell you how much I have loved looking through the collection from @thebedfordpress another beautiful brand from the ENL Collective 🤍 Charlotte has done such a fantastic job. She popped round here to collect something she had left behind after our social media day and brought lots of goodies with her, including some gorgeous pieces for future ENL giveaways 🎁✨ Then I suddenly realised… oh my goodness, I needed three birthday presents immediately 😂🎂 Charlotte literally went home, wrapped everything up and sent them all the way down to Cornwall so I could give them to my nieces and nephew during our huge family birthday celebrations. We celebrate five birthdays over the two weeks around the bank holiday weekend and these presents were such a hit 🌊☀️🎈 Everyone absolutely loved them and kept asking where they could get them from 🤍 Alyssa and Francesca are twins 👯‍♀️ and there may have been a tiny swap over at one point because I suddenly couldn’t remember which present was meant for which twin 😂 thankfully we sorted it before anyone got upset! The craftsmanship is just beautiful. One of the most amazing things about setting up The ENL Collective has been having the time to really get to know the brands, the people behind them, and understand the passion and craftsmanship that goes into what they create ✨ This has honestly become one of my favourite 🤍 and thanks to @camillacraig_eventsmarketing who introduced me to @pod.scandelaia last year and they came to the ENL autumn fair in 2025. Scandelaia produces the most beautiful single estate extra virgin olive oil from restored terraced olive groves in Chianti, Tuscany 🇮🇹 The family behind Scandelaia have spent over 30 years lovingly restoring the land, stone terraces and olive trees, producing only a very limited amount of oil each year using traditional cold pressed methods with no heat and no chemicals. The olive oil is absolutely exceptional 🌿 Rich, peppery, alive and full of flavour. The story behind it makes it even more special. I’ve also completely fallen in love with their stunning handcrafted ceramic bottles, individually made in Cornwall 🤍 They are far more than bottles, they are pieces of art for the kitchen and table. We took some of them down to Cornwall with the family to experiment with styling, cooking and photographing them against the beautiful Cornish backdrop and honestly everybody adored them ☀️ Everybody in our family loves cooking and is passionate about olive oil, and it was fun sharing with them this delicious olive oil and all about the ENL Collective which was only started a couple of months ago 💞 It has also been so lovely getting to know Carolyn and working with her ✨ Passionate people creating beautiful things with real care, thought and integrity.
