Hi! Time to share something I’m proud of. In February we released this film on Basilar’s page and on YouTube, put together over several months of work between me and our incredible videographer Rúben. It turned out a beautiful portrait of what Basilar actually is.
Rúben and Pedro Francisco’s footage from the site gave me a lot to work with and the sound design was super influenced by the images, which in turn also responded and adapted to the sound. That kind of back and forth is pretty rare and I’m glad we made it work. It’s the sort of outcome that makes working on this project so fulfilling. It is challenging and demanding, but it allows me to collaborate and share my vision with some excellent people, and that means a lot.
Everyone on the Basilar team should feel proud of themselves!

The beginning of November I’ll be returning to one of my favourite music places @outracena_lisboa for a special set with Pedro as he debuts at the impeccably curated club.
