these 16 tunes were recorded over an 8-day stretch sitting in a cabin living room in guerneville CA with some of the best people i know.
@dillon.r.casey drove this vision for the album from start to finish, lugging an entire studio 400 miles north, producing and recording to tape from the cabin dining room and mixing it all back in LA.
i wanted to do this thing as live as possible all playing together in the room, no headphones in sight, and the vocals live. as we got closer to the week, that idea felt more daunting as i know i can tend to bite off more than i can chew. but these guys put a lot of trust and confidence in me and in my role at the river house, and holy crap i couldn’t be happier with what we made.

@shittyphoto - fully the spirit of the river house sessions. he cooked the meals, laid in the grass, floated down the river, taught us how to bbq a salmon filet, coughed and hollered during takes, and even sang on a couple tunes. love u dan and the whole bannan family
