Battle format: 💥Prelim: 3 rounds each dancer, 45s each round 💥top16-top 8: 1 round each, 45s each round 💥top 4: 2 rounds each, 45s each round 💥Final: -After top 4, Hip hop and popping finalists will team up -Each team will then randomly pick a judge to form 3v3 team battle -6 rounds per team (1min each round) -Routines are welcome -judges can do solo 2 rounds max - if you made it to top 4 for both categories, haha you can dance for 4 rounds ❤️‍🔥 . We’ve invited three amazing, creative and generous judges to share their experience and knowledge; don’t miss the chance to learn and bring your skills to next level. 💥Focus: Popping / boogaloo 💥Welcome all dance style and level 👾 11am- 12:30pm by Kev @kev95mg Kev will be teaching a workshop focusing on how creativity and popping can come together. He will explore his preferred methods and thought processes to help dancers use foundation in less predictable, more unique and out of the box ways. The workshop hopes to help poppers pay their respect to the style by training foundation with due diligence and to a high quality, while also using them in a way that they think is fresh and represents themselves. 👾 12:40pm - 2:10pm by Bev @lebeverage “Playful Exploration in foundation and Technique” Delving deeper into popping through the lens of Electric Boogaloo foundations. We will be taking popping techniques to diversify and play with foundations, using time to create individually and together.
