There is a wider variation in the lightfastness of the materials I have used. This allows for each piece to evolve in some ways, giving it a life to be experienced and seen slightly differently over time. This one was in a show around 2013. It got wrecked. (paint and melted polystyrene.)

This is a very early piece completed on the back of a damaged and repurposed masked and collaged work. 2000-2001. I had just recently noticed the interaction and cooperation between the materials and the chemical processes coming together. I was gradually revealing procedures and possibilities that hadn’t occurred to me up to this point.
