@emptyatlas is the greatest band (in my heart and in the world) from Jackson, Mississippi, formed around 2011 or 2012? (Complete guess). The group centers on songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Micah Smith, alongside bassist Alex Ingram, and drummer Robert Currie Hansford… all of which are close friends of the Wesley.
Their music blends melodic indie rock, alternative rock, and touches of folk and pop, often focusing on thoughtful, introspective lyrics and dynamic arrangements. Critics and listeners commonly compare their sound to bands like Death Cab for Cutie and The Killers I think.

We’re always a little conflicted about #spotifywrapped - Spotify is a major contributors to AI-generated music, and they make it more and more difficult to afford recording and releasing songs at artists’ expense. What we do love about Wrapped, though, is it’s a chance to celebrate the ways music can connect people.
