RICH FRIDGE
HOMO & Holy Guests: Júlia de Luca & Heather Tudor
HOMO’s work is stylistically nomadic, exploring diverse approaches — from focusing on a single sound source (such as dolphin vocalizations in RESURRECTED DELFINARIUM or acoustic guitar in LUNAR IN AZURE), to sculpting dense, oblique songs like in the albums ALTERED EGO and PEARL HARVEST AT SUN SOURCE. His compositions often weave non- linear narratives rooted in the depths of the psyche.
KUNTARI
Taking up the mantle of “primal-core” for their chosen genre descriptor, KUNTARI wield a vicious and energetic sound that appears to be extracted from the molten depths of the earth’s core. The Indonesian duo of musicians Tesla Manaf and Rio Abror defected from jazz orthodoxy to pursue an otherworldly form of music-making, blending traditional sounds from their homeland with field-recorded soundscapes and pulsing somatic rhythms.

Balandžio 30 d., Kirtimų kultūros centre – legendinio suomių muzikanto ir kompozitoriaus Jimi Tenor grupės „Jimi Tenor Band“ koncertas! 〰
Jimi profesionaliai kuria muziką nuo 90-ųjų pradžios, jo pirmojo solinio albumo „Sahkomies (Sahko)“ daina „Take Me Baby“ tapo hitu po 1995 m. Berlyno „Love Parade“ finalinio koncerto.

Son of Chi (Hanyo van Oosterom) & Arthur Flink (live)
Dutch multi-instrumentalist Hanyo van Oosterom and trumpeter Arthur Flink join forces to memorialize the late Jon Hassell, referencing Hassell’s fourth world and bringing it into the fifth, using dub, experimental and ambient techniques alongside diverse instrumental recordings.
Hanyo van Oosterom has been making fourth world-influenced music for years, way before it was snapped up by the Instabient set; his band Chi was founded back in 1984, and since then he’s been chipping away at the genre and bending it to his will. Trumpeter Arthur Flink, a regular collaborator of van Oosterom’s, has been equally as moved by Hassell’s style, so the duo sound completely pointed in their tribute - willing to holistically look at the past as they attempt to shift it into the future.
Made up of two lengthy side-long compositions patchworked from sketches and ideas, “The Fifth World Recordings” is an invigorating listening experience. Hassell’s influence is evident from the beginning, and not just in Flink’s weightless trumpet playing; van Oosterom’s processes and electronic manipulations also reference Hassell’s interest in non-Western scales and mystical harmonics, and the duo wake these ideas up with dub basslines and washes of blunted ambience.

Stygis ir Nepriteklis
Ringhold
Electric guitar grooves and low, drifting vocals. Ringhold is an avant-psych blues duo from the Baltics — Kalle Tikas on guitar and Eleonora Kampe on vocals. Their sound moves between melancholy and something more restless, sometimes soft, sometimes almost danceable. The voice stays steady and textured, while the guitar builds a loose, blues-driven backdrop.
Juuso Paaso’s Tulevat käsitteet (Future Concepts)
Juuso up a bubbling magic brew from simple melodies, extracting everything possible from them — while drawing on the rhythms of deserts and backlands, old consumer-grade audio equipment, wild guitar rides and echoes of the cosmos.
Algis Fediajevas
Acoustic guitar and voice, direct and unpolished. His playing is expressive but restrained, built on small variations and unusual tones without effects. The songs shift quietly — from still and focused to more intense, without losing their simplicity.
Alan Bolumar
Between deep catatonic melodies, sonic explorations, folk laments, ecstatic grunts and bedroom experiments, Alan shares music with care. Often unexpected, sometimes easy, intriguing at others, his selections trace a landscape with many faces, shifting between inner drift and restless ground.
