I’ve never done yoga a day in my life 😂, but let me tell you. It’s not what you think. Huge thanks to @empressthandi for patiently walking your boy through it, because it’s definitely hard work.
During our session, I was able to connect with my body and activate muscle groups I didn’t even realize I had. Most importantly, the session allowed me to connect with my inner being.
Now I’ve got another routine to add to my list. Blessings 🙏🏿

On April 9, 2026, @wakeupja876 organized a much needed Mental Wellness retreat for the Teachers and Staff of Black River High School, in St Elizabeth—a parish still recovering from Category 5 Hurricane Melissa which hit in October of last year.
We at @freeyourmindja were honoured to serve as over 60 attendees were encouraged to #BuildBackBetter and were equipped with skills and techniques to offer Mental Health First Aid to self and those they serve.
Mental Health Presentations by Dr Janique Baldwin-Miller, Regional Psychiatrist at @southernregionalhealth and Mrs Sharon Anderson of Child Play Therapy Jamaica, granted reminders to #BeKindToYourMind and Process life as it comes
The day also featured Yoga session by @empressthandi of @wisewellnessjamaica and Sip and Paint session by @freeyourmindja ‘s very own Dr @mello__joy 🧠🌱
