Perfume has quietly been everything to me for my entire life. In 2020, it became publicly everything to me (TY TikTok).
That led me to seek out more formal training, which turned into a podcast, then monthly virtual events, then in-person ones, live shows, and countless interviews with the people who inspire me most.
And now, five years later to be featured in the
@wwd special fragrance issue is a surreal milestone.
@noorlobaddie wrote a brilliant piece on the emerging subculture of scent, and somehow, that included a photoshoot of me, in my apartment (!).
I am a perfect example of the power of scent. My grandmother passed away when I was just six, and yet all of this — began with her.
