Met up with a few hooligans back in January and was promptly reminded that a crew of goofballs who collectively love skiing in badass mountains is pretty much all you need for one heckuvatime. Link in bio to join in for a few laughs, turns, and all around good vibes on the sunny side. Grateful to all who made this epic adventure what it was — looking forward to more! @toddligare @amyjanedavid @juliancarr @shanefuhrman @f4dstudio @liam_doran_outdoors @gabe_rovick

In memory of a small but mighty fall of learning, slowing, and growing… Hip reconstruction this fall forced an unknown stillness. No pushing through or pretending — just four weeks of no walking and a long road to recovery. Pain still shows in unexpected ways and moments, but it’s teaching me to listen. So many lows make the simplest of moments a high. I wouldn’t choose to skip this lesson, though. Out of it has come patience, gratitude, and a new found appreciation for walks (I’ve never walked so much in my life, hah!). To my body: thank you for your strength, for adapting, for teaching me you know more than I could imagine, and for every step forward with your newly given hardware. You are truly powerful! Thanks to you all who reached out with support, and to my mama, padre, Grace, Tommy, Bodhi, @salomonfreeski and so many more who held my hand through this. My sincerest apologies for being such a rascal, though that won’t change much ever. Lessons learned and cherished, snow welcome and encouraged. Do your thing, Ullr. I’m ready 😎

QST: Ski damn good, look damn good. I can’t count the number of years I’ve skied the @salomonfreeski QST line up, but I can tell you this is the best line up yet. I’ve evolved as a skier next to these skis, and lemme tell ya: it just keeps getting better. My weapons of choice are the QST 106 and the QST BLANK. From railing turns, to fluffy pow turns, to skiing some of the biggest big mountain terrain I thought only existed in my dreams 🌞 Photos from adventures all over this last winter, thanks to these masters: @griffinelsley @skitaos @liam_doran_outdoors @joney_hawk @thomasjdoerr

This summer hasn’t looked like most — but I might argue it’s made me appreciate the beautiful things in life I took for granted before 💛 I hurt myself this spring, skiing in AK. I thought I could push through and heal myself like I’ve done so many times before, but this one was a little different. I finally sought the medical help I needed, and ended up getting surgery this past week. But first, spent a few days on the river as a proper send off to summer. I’m on the up swing now, and will be back on my feet & skis when the snow flies. For now, I’ll sit in appreciation of all things life: sadness, smiles, fear, love, light, flowers, and so much more. Grateful for it all. Keep it coming, life 🌻 Thanks all who’ve helped along the way — I truly couldn’t do it without you!

ALASKA! Finally processing this trip — being a little human in a place of such magnitude is humbling to say the least. Despite being cooped up at camp for days on end, the few moments of sunshine were well worth the wait. Learning to navigate and read these massive mountains is a gift. Skiing the lines we did felt like a dream, but not the kind of dream where everything goes just right. I’d pick a line, try, fail, and try again. I think that’s how most first experiences of AK go, and I can’t wait to do it all over again, only better next time. Grateful is an understatement — thanks to the epic mountains and badass crew that made this trip what it was. See you all again soon, after some much needed sunshine and quiet time 🫶 📸 @griffinelsley @blankcollectivefilms @salomonfreeski
