I had a brillo time singing at @nationalconcerthall in February with the National Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, under the direction of Alexander Shelley, and a group of beautiful, world-class soloists. The dots on the night came from Robert Schumann's "Das Paradise und die Peri". They were fairly spectacular dots from everyone!I'm very grateful to all at NCH for having me involved and giving me the chance to make music with some incredible musicians. Thank you! RESOLUTION Am I within the scope of New Year's resolutions still? I'm going to optimistically affirm myself!I have been lacking in posting, even with plenty of great things to acknowledge and post about. SO. Smiling, happy faces from our audience at our packed out, sold out night in St. Mary’s Church of Ireland, Leixlip, on Friday last! A beautiful night and a huge success! We cannot wait to do it all over again this coming Friday, but this time with @betania.kids.choir joining us!!!Now would you look at these beautiful photos! @puregrandWe’d like to wish a massive thank you to you for coming and spending the evening with us! We’d like to also say a massive thank you to @puregrand for his beautiful photos, to Jackie and Peter who helped us prepare, to Helen and the parish at Leixlip and Lucan, to all of those who helped us immeasurably, Cian Ó M, Sonja, Adrian, Senan, Cillian, Cian N, Aoife, Maura, Alex, Brian! ECEMF25 is delighted to present The Marvellous Mademoiselle Maupin, celebrating the life of the saucy swashbuckling sword fighter that she was. Featuring the absolutely cracking mezzo-soprano @emmapower.vox alongside our very own Cork Baroque Players, this is not an event to miss, come hail,rain or storm. So grab your umbrellas/bikinis/snow-boots/trampolines (who knows folks, it’s Ireland. CORK/MUNSTER QUEERS I've had the pleasure of getting to work back in Cork on Mondays the last couple of months, with a really dynamic group of artists. We're now ready to invite others to join us! LGBTQI+++ Voices, Let’s Make Some Noise!Join Opposite of Queer Trauma, a fun, participatory vocal project (for adults) led by Yvon Bonenfant!   No singing experience required, just come ready to explore your voice, create beats, share joy and move a little in a safe, supportive space. Our work will lead to a special performance at Cork Midsummer Festival 2025, and include 4 performance dates (TBC 28 April to 2 June) at The Granary Theatre UCC.     Rehearsals: Mondays, 6:30–9 pm, starting Monday 18th and/or 25th November 2024 @ UCC Theatre Dept  Would you like full information? Super chuffed to place 1st in the Mezzo Soprano Solo competition at @thefeisceoil this morning. I received the beautiful Pearl Atock Trophy, and had the opportunity to sing alongside some other gorgeous mezzos. Congrats to @yasminoreilly28 placing second, and my fabulous friend @evanmylesbyrne placing 1st in the Tenor Solo!Enjoy some proper photos, and some fun ones with our gorgeous teacher @imeldadrumm , who we are all so thankful for XXX

Well, I've been milking these photos for a few months now(because duh!), but the wonderful experience behind them deserves its own post!In March of this year, I was selected along with three other fantastic musicians to take part in the RIAM × NSO Concerto project. On the 31st of May, 2023, we took to the main stage of the National Concert Hall with the National Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Gavin Maloney, to perform our concerti as they were meant to be heard.Ravel's Shehérazade is a work that is now woven into the fabric of my being. It is such a special piece to me. I am so grateful to have performed it with full orchestra, and to have received the support I did from my teacher @imeldadrumm , my coach @dearbhlacollins_piano the staff at @riamdublin and @nationalsymphonyorchestrairlThank you for indulging my nostalgia!
