At last night’s Sound of 007 In Concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Hans Zimmer and David Arnold played a very special Duesenberg 007 guitar made for Bond’s 60th anniversary. Signed by the James Bond Producers, Dame Shirley Bassey, David Arnold, Hans Zimmer, Garbage, Lulu and more, and now being auctioned at Christie’s in aid of the BRIT School and Nordoff Robins. Drowning in the doom and gloom of January standstill and damp weather?
Well, you’ve come to the right page, because this week, we are proud to feature one of our and your absolute favourite vocalist, Emma ‘The Voice’ Lindars!
And because the lovely Lady Lindars can sing most anything, we’ve decided to throw EVERYTHING at her with this arrangement of what some might consider a ‘damp’ or ‘cheesy’ song, but not how we do it 😎
This song was written for this niche, avant-garde indie film most of you have probably not even heard of. It was released in the late 70’s, but was written to sound like it was from the 50’s, so we’ve gone ahead and brought it back where it belongs, with a crazy tight spandex, long haired, cocaine loving Disco era.
So, get your Disco balls out and get your boogie on with this banger and its multitude of key changes!
