I cannot believe it but: I am writing an oral history of the first three decades of the WNBA for @simonandschuster . I’ve been inspired by these women since I was a kid—I had a Rebecca Lobo poster on my bedroom wall and played in a pair of Cynthia Cooper’s signature Nikes—through my own D3 college basketball days, and now in adulthood. I’m honored that I’ll get to spend the next year trying to capture their stories and incredible impact. This is simply going to be a lot of fun.
