Emilia Sandrucci, currently studying at NABA in Milan, explores how garments can function as sculptural constructions. Her work amplifies volume with crinolines and aluminum frameworks, reshaping the body into a striking and distant presence. Surfaces are treated with layered textures that recall torn posters and urban walls, crafted through analog techniques yet resembling digital patterns. By using trompe l’oeil, Emilia challenges perception, creating pieces that blur the line between fragility and rigidity, concealment and revelation.

Francamente, sono un po’ stufa.
Francamente è una collezione che si configura come un manifesto estetico e politico: materica e tangibile, provocatoria e autoironica, ribalta i codici patriarcali restituendo al corpo femminile un linguaggio di resistenza, eccentricità e autodeterminazione.
Le protagoniste dell’editoriale sono ragazze invitate a un ballo di fine anno: recuperano vecchie fotografie, le stampano su carta e, attraverso pratiche DIY, le trasformano in abiti grotteschi, volutamente goffi ma sorprendentemente sensuali.
