Acting 101. @_amanda.coombs @back2basickz & @oneheavydream started an improv stage impact theatre program based on the youth’s understanding (through their vision) of what mental health awareness is, mixed with social justice. This is a short piece intro of a 10 min scene that the youth and I directed. We worked on what the blueprint looks like, where the scene starts, the middle point, and how it ends. We also worked on character development and the different mental health issues each of them are dealing with. Although all scenes are touching on serious topics, you can see that the youth are having fun experiencing this style of acting for the first time, and being creative on spot. Keep in mind that there’s no lines memorized and we’re all doing it together without practicing the scene. Support Amanda Coombs to be our community’s next city councillor. She’ll be able to provide more programs in the community for the youth so they can learn something new, build social skills, stay active and experience it for free. Programs changed my life in my late teens in 2009 and got me doing everything that I’m doing now. Imagine how different programs can change the youth’s future in today’s world. I’m super grateful for those who’ve reached out to me, liked, reposted, left a comment, DM’d me, called me or emailed me to congratulate me or to even check up on me based on my past, what I’m doing at the moment, my growth, what I’ve accomplished, and know what I’ve been through to become who I’ve become as i keep on progressing to be the best human I can be. I’ve performed more than a 100 shows in the past 2 decades, but I started to write this album in 2008, after I was done with rehab. NOW it’s time to “JUST HEAR ME OUT” and understand the past and present thoughts and actions in HEAVY’s life; who I was, what happened to me, where things went wrong, when did life change, why I kept my dreams alive, and how I became the entrepreneur I am today… I want to thank all the artists, producers, musicians I’ve worked with, thank all the people that came to an event, and thank those who supported me when I couldn’t read, write, speak and understand what emotions were after my car accident in 2006. Although I don’t speak with alot of those people anymore, i’ll forever be grateful for everything everybody has contributed to help me develop as human when I was at my lowest, physically and mentally. Now I can proudly say, I’m so close to surpassing what was once the highest peak of my life; 2017-2020 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 My 1st single, “Always time” off of my upcoming album “Just hear me out” will be released soon… HEAVY
