For generations, women were conditioned to compete, compare, and play small to stay safe and belong. As a result, so many of us carry sisterhood wounds… “mean girl” stories from times we felt excluded, judged, or misunderstood. And without realizing it, those stories can shape how we see ourselves and other women: “She’s cliquey.” “She’s a b*tch.” “I don’t trust them.” But what if sometimes we’re viewing other women through the filter of old experiences? What if these are stories we get to rewrite? This generation is the first to understand that our nervous systems co-regulate and heal in connection - in spaces where we can be fully ourselves and be met with grace and compassion. Girl, you deserve female friends who think you’re the sh*t. Where they hype you up, inspire you, and speak highly of you. Nothing compares to the sweetness of women who don’t make you compete or perform to belong. We all deserve healthy friendships where we feel seen and celebrated exactly as we are.
