Tough - Out Now!
LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE BABY! I’m still in complete and utter shock that I get to say I have a song out today with @quavohuncho and @honeymoon . I did not even dare to dream big enough for something like this. Thank you to everyone who made the dang thing happen! From all my co-writers who took my chorus idea and made it 100x better, to the person who got it placed, to Quavo and Lana and the LA team for believing in it and completely making it their own, and our teams who fought for this song, I do not have the words to thank you all enough! This is a big team win and I will be forever grateful for this experience! Here’s to many more together!
I’ve waited six and half years to make this post and I have absolutely no idea what to say except that I have officially signed my first publishing deal with @sonymusicpubnashville !
To every person I’ve ever written with or produced, thank you. The fact that I get to do this as my job every day is still wild to me.
Sam, you’ve been an absolute rockstar and godsend over the last few years. Aaron and Lauren, thanks for going to bat for me and Kenley and the rest of the Sony team, let’s go! And most importantly, Madeleine.
Thank you for being my biggest champion, my shoulder to cry on, my unofficial (and sometimes unwanted) A&R, and for holding my hand through this crazy ride. Because of you, I get to chase my dreams every single day. ❤️
Last night, 8 years into a ten year town, I got to check off a very cool milestone. My first song performed at the Grand Ole Opry!
@abbeycone you’re a superstar and sounded like an angel! Thank you so much for bringing this song to life and performing it in that circle last night! So proud of this song and thank you for letting me write it with you and @makingmadeline ! 🌹🌹🌹
P.S. Yes, I did cry like a little baby.
OUT NOW - “That’s Showbiz Baby” - @abbeycone
Y’all better pardon her roses! Had such a blast writing this with two of my favorite artists and writers, @abbeycone and @makingmadeline . So happy to have been a part of it! (Tilly says, “Me too!”)
