And she made sure we understood Shakespeare shouldn’t be off limits if we lack a certain level of education. 📚 Elyse said, “The more people are able to interact with Shakespeare and understand him, the more equitable our culture can become.” ✨ I’m loving my little “artist residency” @cklectures . 2025, you were the year that I: 📕 travelled to NYC and saw a First Folio for the first time 🎤 gave 2 talks about Shakespeare to educational theatre groups. Thanks @djuan.anthony and @julianna__camille ! 👩‍🏫 became a teaching artist and developed 3 8-week class curriculums (intro to acting, script analysis, and Shakespeare for actors) and 1 2-hour workshop on vocal health. Thanks @loganjheller for the support and encouragement 🎭 Produced the New Comedies Festival at @bstreettheatre and directed in-chief by @allyduvak for Playwrights’ Revolution at @capstage 🎙️ expanded @shakespeareanyonepod ’s operations to start selling merch (that people actually bought!) and surpassed 100k downloads 📝 saw my work cited in Stratford Festival’s Macbeth study guide and Performing Shakespeare on an Endangered Planet by Katherine Steele Brokaw and Elizabeth Freestone 🗞️ was quoted by Washington Post book critic Ron Charles in the Washington Post Book Club newsletter 🍷celebrated 10 years of @shakespeare_on_the_vine 💀 wrote NEVER FEAR, SHAKESPEARE with my husband @spnill55 which introduced over 6,000 students and their families to Shakespeare and showed them that theatre (and Shakespeare) is for everyone. I also welcomed a niece and got to spend so much time with family and friends. Happy New Years, everyone! May 2026 be good to us.

1095 days of feeling like I’m high-fiving a million angels because @spnill55 and I are married. Year 3 was a banger of a year. Together, we: ✈️ travelled to Maine, Boston, and NYC 🍯 saw Winnie-the-Pooh get its second production (and now it is on to its third!) ⚾️ visited 3 MLB stadiums 🎭 wrote a play!! Thank you @spnill55 for making every day better. Happy 3rd Anniversary and here’s to 300 more years!

Pemberley’s doors are closing for the season today at 2pm at @capstage . I have loved playing @lalatellsastory and @margemel ’s Mary Bennet since 2017. I love her humor and how she blossoms into a more self-assured and self-aware version of herself.
