This month's lectures are locked in. Grab your tickets at cklectures.con. If they are sold out (that tends to happen quickly) sign up for our mailing list, mailing list folks are the first to hear about new lectures.
Common Knowledge first lecture was last night and it was a huge success. Based on the peer review survey at the end of the night everyone had a fantastic time. Tickets for more events will be going live shortly so keep checking CKLectures.com to grab your tickets before we sell out!

One of my goals in my career is to reach people where they are. That’s why I’ve decided to share my research beyond the ivory tower, and at a bar lecture in Sacramento next week. The event sold out quickly, which is both exciting and a little nerve-wracking.
I’ve loved seeing what Zac and the whole @cklectures team is doing, and I appreciate the space to talk about my research on the impact of true crime on co-victims. Looking forward to it!
Bar Lectures are wildly popular. If you have been meaning to check one out now is the time. We have a few tickets left for our May 27th event but they are moving fast.

POV: You start a weekly bar lecture series in Sacramento and now they sell out almost immediately.
That’s the story of @thisiszacmiller and @cklectures , which has quickly become a popular event in the area.
Here’s a preview of the @cklectures event tonight in Sacramento.
Follow them to see what events they have coming up, and stay tuned for our full interview with Zac.
@mindyskitchen_ca ’s founder, @muganzoentertainment , is up next to lecture for the Common Knowledge Bar Lecture Series!
After battling with fibroids for 12+ years, she has and continues to advocate and call out medical injustice in support of womb healing. This is why she executive directed “The Big Hysto: A Black Womb Revolution” (available on YouTube, Roku TV+, Apple TV+) and launched @mindyskitchen_ca .
And on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026, the @cklectures audience gets to address the advances and dire challenges that are still present in the medical field. Thank you @thisiszacmiller for the beautiful opportunity. 🫂

Elyse Sharp humanized Shakespeare last night. She referenced The Pitt, Will Ferrell, and Steve Carell. And she made sure we understood Shakespeare shouldn’t be off limits if we lack a certain level of education. 📚
Elyse said, “The more people are able to interact with Shakespeare and understand him, the more equitable our culture can become.” ✨
I’m loving my little “artist residency” @cklectures . It’s so nice to sketch people as they lecture. It’s maybe the one time when it’s socially acceptable to stare at a stranger! Haha. And I learn so much. 🤓
