We’re incredibly thankful to @operationkindness for partnering with us to bring these spay and neuter services to our community. Through state funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services’ spay/neuter program dedicated to helping high-need areas across Texas, pets in our community were able to receive lifesaving surgeries for their families. 🫶
Operation Kindness Humane Society is also investing in our community by covering travel and staffing costs for their veterinary team. 😻
Access to services like these helps prevent unwanted litters, reduces shelter overpopulation, and keeps pets healthier and safer for years to come. 💗
Thank you to everyone who came out over the past few days, showed patience, and took advantage of these resources for their pets. And thank you to all of the staff, volunteers, and veterinary teams who worked tirelessly to make this possible.

From STEAM tools to classroom libraries and hands-on learning materials, these grants help bring meaningful learning experiences directly to local students.
Since 2011, The Classroom Fund — a project of the El Paso Community Foundation — has awarded more than $750,000to support educators and students throughout the El Paso–Las Cruces region.

Kessto Kreatures, who sold out EPCF's Jewel Box Series in 2024 with "The Scarecrow," will close out our 10th anniversary season with "An Anansi Experience."
Performances are at 2:30 pm and 7 pm Sunday, May 17 in the Philanthropy Theatre.
The show, which features life-sized puppets, debuted in Chicago and was created by Jim Henson Foundation grant recipient Anthony Michael Stokes of El Paso. The Anansi is rooted in West African culture and was a symbol of slave resistance.
Tickets are $15 at the Plaza Theatre Box Office and Ticketmaster.
El Paso’s first-ever Child Friendly Initiative feedback session was student-led, and Strive Now was proud to partner with the El Paso Community Foundation & Para Niños to make it happen 🙌
We then closed the night with a special moment: laptops in hand for every student who completed their Workforce Readiness microcredential courtesy of our dear partners, Junior Achievement of the Desert Southwest 💻
