I still can’t believe I got to make this show. It was a joy to build our magical little world with the kindest, most talented actors and writers and crew. Thank you to everyone who watched us, wrote about us, championed us. I’m grateful for you all.
Some of my favorite covers this season. Sublime photography by the talented and lovely @stephanievovas and, as always, impeccable design by @pentagramdesign
Please sign if you have not done so already. Even if — especially if — you’re not in the entertainment industry. Our local economy is inextricably linked with film and TV production, and we have all been affected by the slowdown. Link in bio.

A few last random stills from Minx Season 2. These are from episodes 204, 206, & 207 directed by @annarameyborden@petechatmon and @rlgoldenberg . We occasionally played with split diopters (1st slide) and over the entire season had a Color con filter from @camtec_official in front of the glass. They were able to customize the filter for us to be much brighter and controlled wirelessly (that part already existed). We worked with their tech to add things along the way, like saving specific colors. Upon initial inspection of our raw footage any colorist would have a heart attack. The filter was cranked up so high our shadows were completely destroyed. This was our intention of course, I was trying to replicate what happens in a smoky environment without having to use much, if any, smoke on set. Then with the help from my on set DIT #SpencerShwetz and our final colorist @tim_stipan we were able to create an image with a vintage feel captured almost 90% in camera.
