Ellenbrook Arts is moving to a new space, and this evening marks a significant milestone in our organisation’s history. Since 2002, 34 Main Street has been a creative home for generations of artists, visitors, volunteers, and community members hosting exhibitions, workshops, performances, and cultural gatherings that have shaped our identity. Using second-hand fabrics, bubble wrap, fruit netting, and found objects, Stoll challenges ideas around waste, fashion, and reuse through humour and creativity. Gallery 2 – Monotypes by Den L Scheer�Celebrating Australia’s native wildlife through expressive printmaking, Scheer’s monotype works capture the beauty, movement, and personality of Australian animals with rich texture and detail. Gallery 3 – What is Disappearing by Xiaoyu Yang�A thoughtful exploration of the fragile beauty of native Australian flora, reflecting on the quiet disappearance of plant species, habitats, and ecological knowledge. Guided by engaging theatre activities and games, children will develop their own stories and bring them to life on stage as part of a supportive ensemble. ‘Untitled 2’ is an exhibition comprising new sculptures and previous paintings by Curtis Taylor. Working across mixed media, Curtis shares deeply personal stories, cultural knowledge and lived experiences using art as a form of expression, reflection and truth-telling. 🔴

Gallery 1 - “Billagurdah” by Wayne Stevens @judih_judih Wayne’s artefacts are how he maintains a living relationship with his people, honouring both past and present while fulfilling his responsibilities to culture. His work is a continuation of inherited knowledge, guided by responsibility, respect, and cultural protocol. Gallery 2 & 3 - “Untitled 2” by Curtis Taylor @cjaytaylor11 Working across mixed media, Taylor shares deeply personal stories, cultural knowledge and lived experiences using art as a powerful form of expression, reflection and truth-telling.
