Weeks posts
You may have seen my face once or twice on here (a few more times on this post 😆), but it’s been awhile since I’ve properly introduced myself and said hello! ☺️ I’m Libby - toddler mama, brand designer, crime show addict, coffee lover and your very own personal hype girl. I have been designing for a decade (!) and love it more now than ever… through lots and lots (and lots) of trial and error, I have found the sweet spot for the number of clients I take on as well as where my skill set and strengths lie. It’s not about doing it all for everyone, but about doing the most I can for a small selection of epic humans that I have the pleasure of working with. Some may say niching down is a risk, but once I realised that my FAVE people to work with were other female business owners, everything became much more clear. I am such a huge advocate for women in business and I love being able to support and help them to get that one step closer to building the brand they have only dreamt of. Let’s see if we have anything in common. My GO-TO _____ is👇🏼 DRINK: Oat latte ☕ (AM), red wine 🍷 (PM) FOOD: Pasta, pizza, hot chips… can you sense a theme here?🍝#carbqueen TV SHOW: Law & Order SVU, love me some (fictional) heinous crimes 🏛️ DAY-OFF ACTIVITY: If I’m at a park on a sunny day with my daughter & husband and a pastry in hand, that’ll do me just fine 🥐 APP: I’m a slave to Instagram 😂 I love engaging on my business account and when I’m on my personal account… well, it’s purely to share memes & photos of my daughter 🫣 It’s your turn to spill. I might not be the right designer for you — and that’s ok (promise!). This post isn’t a dig, a rant, or a red flag roundup. It’s just a peek into how I work, so that if we don’t tick each other’s boxes, that’s totally okay. No hard feelings. What I do offer is a personalised experience — a one-on-one partnership where I’m with you every step of the way. I break your project down into clear, manageable phases, so it never feels overwhelming… you’ll know what we’re working on, why it matters, and what’s coming next. And by the end? You’ll be thinking it’s the best thing you’ve done for your business all year, hands down. The best results come from the right fit — for both of us. I work closely and intentionally with a small number of clients each year, so I can fully immerse myself in each brand and give it the attention it deserves. If that sounds like your kind of partnership… could we be a match? Let’s find out! I’ve got space for just a few more branding projects — 1 in May, 2 in June — and I’d love to chat with you about yours. Let’s make it official-ish. Book your free intro call (link in bio) or DM me for the deets. #graphicdesignerperth #graphicdesignperth #designbywomen #womenindesign #femalefounder #femalefounded #femaleentrepreneur #brandingservices #graphicdesignservices #perthgraphicdesigner #perthdesigner #perthdesignstudio #perthcreativestudio #australiangraphicdesigner #designperth #perthsmallbusiness #perthsmallbusinessowner #perthlogodesign #smallbusinessbranding #businessbranding #perthlogodesigner #nowbooking

I don’t know if it’s the pregnancy hormones or the fact my daughter is about to turn three (!)… but I’m feeling all the feels this week. Running a business and raising a baby at the same time is probably the hardest (actually, definitely the hardest) thing I’ve ever done. But also, the most amazing. It’s something I’ve been reflecting on lately, and it felt right to put it into words… in case it’s something you’ve been feeling too. My DMs are always open, not just for business chats, but the real-life stuff too 🤍

Building brands worth revisiting (and reposting). This project had zero revisions. One of those rare moments where everything just clicked into place from the very beginning. Over a year later and I’m still just as obsessed with it. Especially now, navigating postpartum for the second time and slowly rebuilding my own strength again, this brand feels extra special to come back to 🤍 #femalebranddesigner #perthgraphicdesigner #perthlogodesigner #logoinspiration #minimalistbranding

All of the women I work with are creative. They have *impeccable* taste. They have ideas. They’ve saved the Pinterest boards, half-sketched things in notebooks and thought about it more times than they can count. But being creative and building a brand are two very different things. You’ve probably already made a start. A Canva logo. A colour palette you kind of love. Something that got you up and running. Now you’ve hit the point where you know it’s only going to take you so far. Not because you’re not capable, but because you’re too close to it. When it’s your own business, everything feels important. Every detail matters. And suddenly you’re circling the same ideas, trying to make them “right”. What you need isn’t more ideas. It’s someone who knows how to pull them together, shape them, refine them and turn them into something that actually works. That’s where I come in. Not to take over, but to step in as your creative partner and take it further than you could on your own. So you can stop revisiting the same ideas and actually move forward with a brand that feels like you… just elevated. If you’re at that point where your DIY brand has taken you as far as it can, I’d love to work with you. Limited spots remain for May & June. Apply via the link in bio 🤍 #femalebranddesigner #femalefounder #luxurybranding

It should be illegal to have this much fun on a brand shoot (okay but actually, it SHOULD be this fun when you have the right team involved 😏) Couldn’t have asked for a better way to mark being back (I’m so back) and the next era of Ellcée Creative (same biz, but better). It’s the audible gasp for me 🥹 This was my client’s reaction to seeing the creative direction aka the first look at her new branding before everything was brought to life. Seeing these reactions in real time has me feeling aaaaall the same nerves and excitement right alongside you. Thank you Shaznae for trusting me with creating the branding for @lumihairextensions (and for letting me share this). Get in touch for gasp-worthy branding. #behindthescenes #clientreaction #brandreveal #branddesigner #logodesigner

You can be doing incredible work and still feel like your branding hasn’t caught up yet. Like it belongs to an earlier version of your business. A version that got you here, but isn’t quite where you are anymore. And in an industry like weddings, where there are so many talented people doing what you do (not exactly the same as you of course, but you know what I mean), your branding plays a muuuuch bigger role than you think. Because you and your brand are shaping how people see you, long before they’ve even thought about enquiring. If you’re in that in-between stage with your own wedding brand, let’s spend your off-season creating something that *actually* reflects where you’re at now. 🏷️ Save this post for your own brand direction. Three wedding brands, each designed to reflect the business behind them. #branddesigner #luxurybranding #luxurybranddesigner #highendbranding #logoinspiration

Our signature branding service in motion for couture bridal wear designers, Coutil 🤎 After years of working closely with founder-led businesses, I’ve learnt that the strongest brands come from true immersion, concept through to rollout, managing each touchpoint in close collaboration so the final result feels seamless, intentional & deeply aligned with the work behind it. This project was slow and considered, and the end result speaks for itself. The extraordinary attention to detail in Faith and Sarah’s bespoke bridal gowns, meticulously made in their Fremantle atelier, is now matched by branding that reflects the same level of care and artistry. Two true creatives. A pleasure to bring this together with them last year. More to come soon. Proudly female-founded since… always. One of the things I feel most grateful for in my business is the women I get to work with. The founders building brave, creative businesses while juggling families, life changes and calendars that are wildly optimistic about how many hours exist in a day. And when you work closely with women in that season of life, you just get each other. The conversations are different. The understanding is instant. And the work ends up feeling far more impactful because of it. These days I’m right there in that juggle too, raising two little girls while running my business. Which has taught me pretty quickly that trying to work and mum at the exact same time doesn’t really work for me. So my weeks look a little different now. Some days I’m deep in brand work with the incredible women behind the businesses I get to help shape. Other days I’m ‘just mum’. Which means the house isn’t always perfectly clean, the washing pile is doing its thing and there’s almost always a coffee that’s been reheated at least once. But this season was never meant to look perfectly tidy anyway. It’s full, a little chaotic, very creative, and I feel beyond lucky that the women I work with are building something meaningful in their own lives too. Tag your favourite female founders in the comments so we can celebrate and support them, today and every day. #iwd #iwd2026 #femalefounded #femalebranddesigner #femaledesigner

One thing I’ve noticed about the founders I work best with is… they’ve usually been thinking about their brand for awhile 💭 They’ve done the research, saved inspiration and spent a lot of time imagining what their business could become. That was exactly the case with @LumiHairExtensions . When Shaznae first reached out she said she felt really drawn to my work and had a strong sense we’d be aligned. Well… she was right 😏 From the start, the direction for Lumi Hair’s visual identity was really clear. Effortless and elevated, playful but polished. Proof that premium doesn’t have to feel super serious. When the vision is this clear, the design follows. This entire project also landed with zero revisions. We both had a small window to make it happen before I headed off on maternity leave, but when you know a project is *this* aligned, you find a way to make the timing work. I handed over the brand in August, and Lumi Hair officially launched last week! Exactly the kind of space a product-based business needs between branding and launch. If you’re in that stage right now, sitting on an idea or knowing your brand needs to evolve, make sure to add yourself to the waitlist. You’ll be in good company 👀 #brandreveal #branddesigner #perthgraphicdesigner #perthgraphicdesign #logodesigner
