For any young man who needs to hear this... there is strength in vulnerability and there is power in self expression. I spent too many years being shamed because figure skating was not a “man” enough sport. Do not let anyone make you feel ashamed of what you are passionate about. Find the courage to pursue it with your whole heart. That’s the type of courage that will change the world one day ❤️✨🙏🏽

It’s hard to put into words what this means to me.
Growing up as a high level competitive figure skater, I genuinely could have never believed that leaning into self discovery, connection and joy would be magic keys in unlocking my greatest potential and deepest fulfillment. We spend our lives pushing as hard as we can but with that comes a lot of dissociation from ourselves as well as our bodies and we rarely highlight the price that this can pay on our lives and future goals.
I feel so fortunate and fulfilled to have such beautiful and meaningful experiences of connection and pure joy on the ice through this camp. It has healed me in ways unimaginable and it truly takes my breath away to reminisce on what this camp and these students have brought into my life.
