Me and big bro at the 2026 @apraamcos Awards ~ it’s my proudest accolade for sure, winning one of these peer and member voted awards back in the day. Writing songs is by far the best thing about the job, it has always been my favourite part of the passion. It’s free therapy that helps and heals others, through helping let their tears fall or making them laugh or making their body move and shaking out whatever is stuck, whatever is unsaid.. it is my favourite magic. And I’ll never stop. So stoked for all the winners this year, it was a bad ass cohort and made me proud and hopeful for the state of music here, that’s for sure. The two hour set had ALL the trimmings, cornerstone singles, unexpected covers and they opened with their brand new track, the incredible protest FU song for the times; ‘Don’t Even Have To Say His Name..’ (my current fave)
