On the 2023 trip my friend @imfolker and I made on his old Vespa around Java to shoot our documentary Garden of Graffiti, we drove past this empty shop. Shop doors like these are unique, to me, and very fun to paint, since they’re usually made of metal.
I took a quick snap, to show friends around what spot we could paint. We turned out never painting the door, but it did get a homage in the form of an abstract painting. Here’s to all the unpainted doors, walls and trains that are left to tickle someone else’s creativity.
