We’re beyond thrilled to share that our film HOPE IN THE ANTHROPOCENE will have its Canadian premiere at the @bceffestival Nov 4th @ 5pm– Vancouver, BC Tickets for both in-person & online screenings are available via the link in bio. Shaia and I began this project as a way to process our own climate anxiety - through making this film and connecting with so many passionate, dedicated people, we found ourselves feeling a little more hopeful about what’s possible. We’re endlessly grateful to the incredible cast and team who poured their time & energy into this project. This film wouldn’t exist without you. stills from ‘Brynmawr’, a short doc I made last year about the town my family is from. It looks at the collapse of small industry towns in South Wales, and the quiet persistence of those who still call them home

Now in post-production! ✂️ A comedic documentary uncovering the eccentric lives and performances of British Columbia’s top tribute artists and celebrity impersonators. Starring the wonderful & talented 🎤 Michelle Reid/Totally Twain, Darren Lee/Elvis, Bonnie Kilroe/multi-impersonator, and Bobby Bruce/Nearly Neil. While shooting The Sincerest Form of Flattery, we were granted intimate access to the homes, families, and memories of our subjects. They fed us homecooked meals, drove us to and from ferry terminals, and welcomed us with open arms. We can’t wait to share this window into the lives of these frankly beautiful and delightful people.
