Most violin students don’t improve for one simple reason…
They’re practicing the wrong way.
If you want real progress in your playing, comment “violin” or send me a message. 🎻

Performance at a beautiful wedding at @tivoliweddings — Tivoli Italian Villa in Fallbrook, just outside Temecula ✨
Here I’m playing for the pre-ceremony, as guests arrive and the atmosphere begins to settle.
I love a lush, green venue like this — romantic, timeless, and full of charm.
Creating these moments through live violin is my favorite part 🤍

Here’s a homage to Sweden & My Family ❤️
This trip was everything we had hoped for! To reunite with my wonderful family and the beautiful Swedish Winter land was truly a dream come true (one I waited for years!!!)
We even got snow! Lots of it! Loved playing in the snow with the kids, play music together in the evenings and to show my love how I grew up!
Cheers to a wonderful Christmas and many more to come! ✨❤️
📸 @mikeaguado took the GOOD photos and I took the ones that looks less professional 😂☺️

Today I share my birthday with the loss of my beloved grandma, Elsie, who passed away peacefully in her home, 96 years old, yesterday.
(This was our song, it might be a strange choice but I wanted to honor you with the strongest memory you had of us together ❤️)
It’s a reminder how birth, life and death go hand in hand. I know you would have wanted me to be happy and celebrate my day (so I put a couple of pictures of happy memories in the post) but I also know you understand that I miss you and that that’s hard right now.
Grandma, you were a true role model, you gave me books about Dalia Lama, cooked vegetarian meals only for me when I was a vegetarian, you never judged anyone, you continued to sing and be social and go to gymnastics for as long as you could (well into your late 80s), you still threw Christmas dinners and lived by yourself 96 years old, you performed for the Norwegian soldiers during the Second World War, you raised 4 boys (my dad included) and worked as a nurse. And one of my favorites: You climbed up a mountain with me as a little child so that I could sing Titanics “My heart will go on!” As loud as I could all over the village!!!! And you loved it!!! ❤️
You were love, warmth and acceptance.
I love you grandma.
So this is a sad birthday post, but it’s also one to celebrate life. A life that’s come to an end and life that goes on. Because life is precious, and I’m grateful for it!
Here’s a little poem about our last moments together (just over a week ago when I visited Sweden)
I held your soft hand in mine. We looked at each other for a long time, one last time. It was as if we knew. You, who had been part of my whole life. Played with me when I was a child, created a gathering place for our family, you who always believed in me. You said it felt like we could talk about anything, and I agreed. We lingered in that final meeting, that final moment. And that moment etched itself into my memory. The image of you, before I turned away and walked out the door. Crying Because I had a feeling it was the last time.
❤️❤️❤️
