Making these types of videos has been challenging for me and a learning experience but I need to be more comfortable sharing the journey. I’ve grown a lot as a photographer and as a person, alway continuing to grow. I moved across the country to pressure this dream and it’s come a long way. Adding to my new collection of portraits. This one from a shoot I did a while back with @charlietravers44 and I can see my editing and attention to detail have increased. Sometimes you just need to revisit some sets with a fresh pair of eyes on them.

Adventures at the Sepulveda Dam with @saskitamu
We hiked about half a mile in from where we parked, both of our first time here, and a spot I’ve been wanting to shoot for a while. The scale of the dam, with its strong leading lines and geometric shapes, made for an incredible backdrop.
With just minutes before heading back in the dark, we caught the sun coming through the arch, lining up perfectly behind her and creating bold shadows and contrast. The light really brought the composition together and drew everything into focus.
Really happy with how this one turned out, the flow, balance, and overall energy of the shot came together nicely.
