Come join us in the sierra foothills for this inaugural gathering where we will put our hands & hearts in service of the watershed through hands-on restoration, building beaver dam analogues (BDAS), & planting willows to stabilize wetland habitat.
Throughout the festival, we will get to witness & experience & move to eight unique offerings in four locations across @wakamatsufarm from @secondfigband@sangsih.aiff@playgrndexperience@elias.ffss@covered_in_parmesan@imgraysonhoward@hitherandyonmusic@danielrayhilsinger@maggiezebrine — ranging from a theater production during dinner to full bands folk rock to ambient jazz saxophone to live DJs.
Dinner Saturday & breakfast Sunday will be led by the ever-inspiring kitchen magician @ceremonial_chef with ferments by @feralecology made from foraged fruits & fungi.
Join us in restoring the land, the water, & ourselves, celebrating our collective power to enact positive change, sharing meals & music, swimming in the living waters, resting our bodies on the land in what will become an annual celebration of life.

Hi! I am delighted to announce that I have some new music out today on Bandcamp! It's a two song EP called Don't Wait / Reach out.
The first track was recorded in collaboration with the very talented Gordon Allen back in April during a whirlwind 3.5 hour session where we assembled what were two distinct ideas into cohesive creation. Gordon's ear for composition and arrangement really elevated this tune in such a beautiful way.
The second song is an acoustic improvisation I made in Mexico when I was visiting my dad in February, accompanied by the crickets.
Don't Wait / Reach Out is a prayer for reconnection, an invitation to let those you love know you're there for them, a call to put down whatever it is that's holding us back from prioritizing our nearest and dearest relationships before they're gone.

A year ago today, UNCERTAIN SEAS was released into the world. In the year since, I have had the honor of sharing these songs with you all and hearing your responses, from @sun.dart studio to a rooftop in Chicago w. @golddust.ope to @sistersbklyn w. Ear Yoga Ensemble to Montreal sessions w. my day-one collaborator @stich___________ . The reception has been heartening, to say the least and witnessing these songs connect from my heart and soul to yours brings such an indescribable joy to me. Thank you.
This is an album about how our relationships are the buoyancy we need to navigate the uncertainty inherent in life. As we continue to sail through waters both familiar and uncharted, may these songs hold your life, wrapping you in an invisible layer of protection and safety, love and peace. We need each other. We’re in the same boat.
