Your wedding DJ should be there for more than the packed dance floor! Your DJ should be helping guide the entire flow of your day from the moment guests arrive at the ceremony to the very last song of the night. A great wedding DJ knows how to handle more than “the party.” They know how to: * cue ceremony music at the exact right moment (fading in and out without hard stops) * keep formalities flowing smoothly * work with planners, photographers, and venues to help when needed and pivot plans when necessary * manage timeline activities without making the day feel rushed, planning the music vibe accordingly * read the room and adjust in real time, no repeat set lists And also? They know how to throw YOUR kind of party. The key is having a DJ professional enough to talk out what YOU actually want — and experienced enough to carry that energy through the entire day seamlessly. Because wedding entertainment isn’t one-size-fits-all. The best DJs know how to meet you where you are and elevate the experience from “just a reception” into a night your people will talk about for years.

A gallery of photos is nice. 🙂 A photobooth print is iconic. 🤩 Not to be dramatic, but our photobooth prints are instant nostalgia 🥹 and match your event perfectly! Sure, the digital gallery is fun. But the prints are what end up taped to mirrors, tucked into purses, and hanging in offices for years to come 😎

Two weeks ago, we celebrated TEN YEARS of Elevated Entertainment 🖤💚✨ And honestly… we’re still processing it all! That week was such a whirlwind of events and to-do’s but we were all smiles by the end of it! What started as two people with a dream and a whole lot of determination, turned into a business that has brought us incredible clients, unforgettable events, and vendor friendships we truly treasure. Getting to celebrate this milestone surrounded by people who have supported us through the years meant everything to us. We also officially announced our new sister company, Elevated Sips, during our toast which made the night feel even more special. Funny enough, planning the dirty soda bar for this party is actually what inspired us to turn it into a real business in the first place. Seeing everyone so excited about it made us feel even more confident we’re onto something fun.🥳🥤 We wanted to take a second to shout out the incredible vendor team that helped make this celebration fabulous (view in comments cuz we gotta lot to say! 😝) To every client, couple, family member, friend, vendor friend, and supporter over the last decade: THANK YOU 🥹 10 years later… and we feel incredibly lucky to do what we do. Here’s to the next chapter 🙌💪

Lindsey & Dylan’s wedding day at Henley Estates 🤍 The day started with a little weather uncertainty, so the call was made to move the ceremony indoors — and it couldn’t have worked out more seamlessly! Lindsey & Dylan were all smiles — you could feel how excited they were to be married. Between the chinoiserie details, fresh spring florals, and the sweetest ceremony, the whole day felt effortless. Right after “I do,” guests made their way to cocktail hour on the patio overlooking the view (truly one of the best spots to mingle). While they were enjoying drinks, music, and leaving messages on the audio guestbook, the vendor team was inside pulling off a full room flip in under 40 minutes! By the time guests came back in, the space was transformed and ready to go. After introducing the newlyweds into the reception for their first dance, we then had toasts and a quick cake break! Once the sugar kicked in we opened up the dancefloor: starting with a mix of throwbacks before leaning into 2010s hits (which have been so popular lately). From that point on, the dancefloor didn’t slow down for two full hours 💃🔥 Finally we sent these lovebirds off into the night with a sparkling sendoff ✨ Vendor Team: Venue: @myhenleywedding Planning: @taharaevans Photo: @kbcarrphotography Catering: @lapazcrestline Cake: @edgarsbakery

Look what popped up… our new Pop Booth 🎉 We took it out for its very first spin at Denada’s soft opening this weekend, and it couldn’t have been a better first event. 🥳 The Pop Booth is a drop-off style photo booth—no attendant needed. We set it up for you, then your guests can walk up and start snapping photos, GIFs, and boomerangs all on their own. 💃 It’s interactive, sleek, and perfect for keeping the energy going without a full booth setup. Rent it for a day, a weekend, a week, or even a full month—ideal for restaurants, pop-ups, retail spaces, and events that want something interactive and easy. @denadabham , thanks for letting us be part of your soft opening—we’re already obsessed 🤤🌮 Want something that POPs at your next event, restaurant, or retail space? Let’s make it happen!

New Elevated Wedding Blog: Lydia & Douglas 🤍💍 A wedding day that felt like them from start to finish. Butter yellow details 🌼, a “game day” arrival from the guys 🏀, and a ceremony with flower grandmas + Lydia’s dad officiating… every moment had personality and heart. 🥹 The reception? Packed dance floor. All night. No breaks needed. 🙌💃 And they wrapped it up with an Alabama + Auburn shaker sendoff before riding off in a white Rolls-Royce, the most stylish way to leave 🔥 There’s a lot more we could say about this one — but we’ll let the blog do the talking. Bethany & Michael’s wedding day at Camelot Manor was one of those celebrations where every single detail felt intentional—a true reflection of who they are 🤍 From the moment guests arrived, they were surrounded by meaningful touches—like a collection of wedding dresses from the women in their families on display. And one of the most thoughtful details we’ve ever seen: the couple printed every guest a photo from their wedding or special occasion, and framed it for them to take home. Not just a favor, but something truly personal for each guest (including one for us 🥹). Their ceremony set the tone for the rest of the day—personal, thoughtful, and a perfect lead-in to the celebration that followed. As the night went on, they kept the experience going with a T-shirt toss to bring the energy back to the dance floor post sunset photos. 🤯🎉 Then it was time for a surprise for the bride: a choreographed dance to Super Trooper from Mama Mia 💃 After a staged sendoff and a private last dance (one of our favorite ways to end the formalities), we invited everyone back with Mr. Brightside… and from there, it was two straight hours of nonstop dancing. 🔥🙌 We played a little bit of everything: -Started the evening with Motown classics and irresistible singalongs -2010 throwbacks like Bieber and Joe Bros -Disney favorites like “This Is What Dreams Are Made Of” and “I2I” (a must for our Disney-loving bride! she worked there! ✨) -Country classics like Strawberry Wine and Sold -Newer hits from Sabrina and Chappell It was the kind of set that kept guests on the floor because there was something for everyone, and truly kept the guests guessing what would be next! We also had our photobooth set up with a photo guest book, so they now have a book full of extra prints + handwritten notes to look back on for years to come. And of course, our audio guestbook made an appearance, capturing all the stories and well wishes you just can’t get in writing. The guests showed up in the best way, the dance floor stayed full, and the entire day felt like such a genuine celebration of Bethany & Michael. It was of those days that reminds us exactly why we love what we do 🥰

🎉 TEN YEARS OF ELEVATED 🖤✨ What started as a wild idea has turned into 10 years, over 700 events, thousands of amazing memories, and a business that has grown right alongside us. Elevated officially turns TEN today, and somehow that still doesn’t feel real. 🥹 On Thursday, we got to celebrate this milestone in the best way we know how. Surrounded by our favorite people, our industry friends, and the community that has supported us from the very beginning. It was surreal and so. much. fun. 🤩 We transformed Avenue D into a full Elevated experience: our favorite songs, our Glam Photobooth in action, and our dirty soda bar that kept everyone refreshed🥤✨. It wasn’t just a party, it was a reflection of what we’ve spent the last decade building. 💪🙌 Huge thank you to our incredible vendor team who helped bring the night to life: 🪩 • Venue: Avenue D • Catering: Happy Catering Co. • Content Creation: Bree Does Social • Florals: Deborah Michelle Photography • DJ + Photo Booth + Balloon Install: Elevated (of course 😉) • Dirty Soda Bar: Elevated Sips 🥤 (we casually announced our new business @elevated_sips_al during the party 😜) Speaking of new things… we also introduced something we’ve been SO excited about—our brand new POP Booth 🎉 This iPad-based booth is perfect for events that want something fun, modern, and super easy. Guests can take photos, GIFs, and boomerangs—and it’s available for a day, weekend, week, or even full-month rentals. She’s cute, she’s flexible, and she’s ready to pop up anywhere 👀 (And if you missed it—she made her first appearance in Birmingham this weekend at @denadabham Soft Opening 🌮🍹) To every couple, client, planner, vendor friend, and supporter—thank you. Truly. You’re the reason we’re still in the biz, still growing, and still so in love with what we do. 🥰 10 years down… and we’re just getting started 🪩

It’s party day! 🤩🪩✨ Yesterday was a full-on party prep marathon, and honestly… we wouldn’t have it any other way. We kicked things off with a Costco run (because what’s a celebration without a slightly excessive amount of sodas and cookies), then headed to the venue to drop off a few things and meet up with Trina from @drape.scapes (‼️) Next stop: @denadabham for a little surprise setup we’ve been keeping under wraps 👀 (it’s SO close to Regions Field… we already know post-game hangs are going to be amazing) ⚾️🌮 Then we made a Trader Joe’s run for fresh florals, where @deborahmichellephotography met us and is turning them into something seriously beautiful 🪩🌸 We wrapped the day with fresh nails, pizza on the couch, and all the final little details that make everything come together. Now it’s party day! 10 years of Elevated, over 700 events, and so many incredible people who’ve been part of it — we’re celebrating all of it tonight. 🥹🥳 If you’ve been part of our journey (or just want to see what we’ve been cooking up 👀), we’d love to have you there 🥂
