Elena is a multi-prop movement addict - she has been exploring the flow arts for over 17 years now, and loves to play with whatever she can get her hands on. Her frequent dance partners include dragon staff, contact staff, and fans.
Originally from Boston, and now based out of the Bay Area, she frequently engages in active roles in the community by organizing for the local weekly firejams and or leading Ministry of Flow, the Bay Area Burning Man Fire Conclave.
Elena is thrilled to connect with the rest of the world and share her ever-evolving love for motion through instructorship and performance.
This year at Kindle we have her teaching Vertical SNeS + Variations, a class on contact staff which teaches the fundamentals of shoulder and necks wraps. She is also teaching a dragon staff class, “Cheating Death + Variations.” In it you’ll learn how to cheat death in three simple steps.
