A slow day in Betws-y-Coed...one of those places that feels like it exists slightly outside of time and thats why I loved it.
We wandered into @findmeknitting , a little yarn shop tucked into the most beautiful setting and I was very proud of myself for walking out without adding to my stash.
I couldn't keep myself from this print from the talented @thewoolis tough, showing all the British sheep breeds...our natural world is unbelievable vast and offers us so much, how come we start using plastic to make wearable and wrap ourself?

I didn't start crocheting because I wanted to make something beautiful.
I started because I needed to slow down.
My hands needed something to do while my mind learned to rest and somewhere between the first clumsy stitches and a finished piece I could actually hold..I fell completely in love with it.
With the rhythm of it. The quiet. The feeling of making something real with nothing but fibre and time.
Crochet gave me back a part of myself I didn't know I'd lost.
That's why I made this carousel.. because if you've ever been curious, I want you to know: it's never too late to start, and you don't need to be creative or crafty or patient.
You just need a hook and a little willingness.
