I went down to the civic center today to support all my fellow artists in San Diego. If you live here, please reach out to your councilmember and let them know that reducing the arts and culture funding of the 8th largest city in the country to ZERO is unconscionable.

Got to see Frank Black play all of Teenager of the Year, an album I probably listened to a couple hundred times at a drafting table in Wurster Hall circa 94-95. So obviously the show was more than a little nostalgic. I can’t imagine spending so much time focused on all the details of something I did 30 years ago, but Mr Black did and seemed to be enjoying the process. Also, thanks David Lynch, I will never see a red curtain without also considering all your contributions to my mind palace.
Bouquet. I had the good fortune to spend five days at Arrowmont @arrowmont_school with a bunch a high quality people. It was worth getting stuck in winter weather travel complications.
