I spent entirely too long deciding on what to name this piece. I hate using simple names when I have the opportunity to be super extra and give them long, obnoxious names. A collage piece I created in 8th grade was titled "The Transition from Beauty to Fear." It's a bit of a surprise that I only had guidance called on me for my art once during high school. .

This canvas (it's actually a thin cardboard but anyway) was one of many left to me by my late grandmother. She had noted on the back "flowers & leaves," so I chose to paint a bouquet of long dead roses. They were also left behind by a friend. .
