Newest mural for the tenth @plazawalls ! The folks at Plaza / @okmurals have built an incredible community and space, gathering not only super talented artists but great and friendly folks. I’m honored to be a part of the festival, especially since it’s been such a weird and transitional year for me. Super appreciative of all the support for my art even when I’m not sure of it myself. And a shoutout to mural neighbors @toddeclark and @jaxces who went out of their way to help me project on Weds night! Cheers! 🍻
New one for @habitfest ! So glad for the good weather yesterday and got this close to finishing in one day but I ran out of black paint 🫠
Thanks @cleanhandsarmy for having me out to paint!
It’s been a month since Flash Flood closed, and I’ve had some time to reflect on some the projects I poured myself into over the years. One that I never really shared was the refreshed Flash Flood branding that launched in 2024.
Since this was for my own business and I knew it inside and out, I went for it, and got to pack it full of references and things I genuinely love.
I chose the sans serif in the main logotype because of the ink traps (IYKYK), and the symbols are loosely inspired by printer’s marks (some more faithful than others). The color palette is pulled from the shop itself—all the juicy colors of squeegee blades, emulsion, and process inks.
Working on it was a great reminder that, hey– my design skills are still present (branding folks, don’t come at me, I know this isn’t my forte 😅). Maybe it’s a little chaotic with all of the variations, but it was a true labor of love and I’m still pretty happy with it.
What a great way to close out the month! Honored to be included alongside these amazing women 💛 Thanks to @timlandesjr for chatting with me and @tulsapeople for featuring us.

Over ten years ago, I started playing with laser cutting and engraving plexi at @fablabtulsa . For a number of different reasons, I ended up putting those ideas on the backburner. A handful of pieces came out of that early experimentation but I didn’t feel like I had fully explored everything, so I told myself I would revisit these ideas sometime in the future.
I knew I wanted to work with plexi somehow in creating the pieces for Wordplay, and “Shell,” seen here, is one of the results. There wasn’t quite enough time for the level of deep dive I wanted, but I’m pretty pleased at this early exploration.
Come see it for yourself tomorrow (Saturday Feb 22) from 1—5pm at @liggett_studio . This is your second to last chance to see the show!!
Scenes from the opening of Wordplay, captured by Việt H. Nguyễn (@lameolomo ). Big thanks to Việt, @pursuit_films , and @artistscreativefund for arranging the documentation of the opening, I never remember to take photos 🙃
Still a few more opportunities to catch the show if you missed the opening weekend, including tomorrow evening from 5-8pm! If you make it by, I’d love to hear what you think!
Thanks to everyone who came out last night! Very grateful to be feeling the love from the community 💙 If you missed the opening, don’t fret! There are limited gallery hours this month on Thursdays and Saturdays! If you find yourself wanting to check out the show outside of those hours, hit me up and I’ll see what I can do 😎
TONIGHT! Join me at the opening of my show, Wordplay, at @liggett_studio , 5—8pm. Show runs until February 27th with limited gallery hours. This project was supported by the @artistscreativefund .
All the work has been dropped off and the studio is feeling weirdly empty! With two days to go before the opening, I wanted to share these little clusters of shapes I put together as I was packing everything up. The installation that these shapes are a part of came about in a very roundabout way, but as I slowly started painting these, I knew that they could be a cool pieces, especially sold individually. I hope when you see the whole installation that a handful of these shapes catch your eye and that you’ll want to make your own arrangement in your home.
NEXT WEEK! Wordplay finally opens next week and there’s no better time to reflect on the journey this body of work has lead me on. This was the second piece in the series I created, and one that lead some breakthroughs. This piece taught me just how much depth I could achieve, how handy (and annoying) CA glue is, and that sometimes pieces just need frames to feel complete. Come see it at @liggett_studio starting next Friday.
The culmination of many days of painting 😵💫 I know it’s not always obvious from my work that the forms within originate from type and hand writing, so here’s a little glimpse into my toolkit. Typically, these shapes end up obscured and it’s about time they get a bit of the spotlight. They’re pretty good shapes, don’t ya think? 🌀❇️🟣🔸〰️
