This morning I was proud to stand with @johnbellnc to introduce bipartisan legislation that will help make more affordable housing in North Carolina. We have to do all that we can to make homeownership a reality instead of a dream for North Carolinians.
It was great to get back to Raleigh this week for the Short Session. I’m glad we funded Medicaid rebase but there is so much more to do, including a budget. Let’s get to work.

The federal government has made huge cuts to health care. Now, North Carolina needs to shore up the program to ensure North Carolinians don’t lose critical access to health care coverage through Medicaid expansion.
