I recently joined a bipartisan group of lawmakers and local leaders to introduce HB 1072 to tackle NC’s affordable housing crisis.
Our bill equips Habitat for Humanity and other partners with the resources they need to build more affordable homes statewide.
This is a critical issue affecting families and communities across our state, and we must take meaningful steps to close the affordability gap.
Great having House Pages Ava Cooper and Lovely Harris from Wayne County with us at the General Assembly this week. They also had the special opportunity to join us for a bill signing and meeting with the Governor.
