We want to remember our great project "Tracking the Environment", in which we explored the magic of audiovisual skills through the lense of environmental sustainability. We spent a great week in Moclín, a beautiful village that framed our experience. And there was not only learning, but bonding between different cultures from the European Union. 🌍💼 Project Overview: CAREer—Take Care of Your Career (Phase 2) From February 25 to March 4, 2025, in the city of Turin, Italy, we hosted the 2nd phase of the CAREer project under the Erasmus+ KA2 program. Building on the foundations laid during the first phase in Moclín, Spain, participants from Estonia, Italy, and Spain continued their journey toward career clarity, resilience, and growth. The program aimed to finalise our CAREer diary, and provide participants with practical tools to overcome career-related challenges, enhance financial awareness, improve communication skills, and design effective projects. ✨ Activities: Participants engaged in activities that encouraged them to explore their motivations, identify obstacles, and align their goals through discussions, future visioning, and group exercises. They examined their financial habits, assessed their skills’ value, and practiced making strategic decisions using the CESTA framework. Communication skills were enhanced through mock interviews, voice training, and role-plays, which helped participants build assertiveness and navigate professional interactions effectively. Fieldwork in Turin allowed participants to apply their learning by conducting interviews, gathering insights, and working with local communities. ✅ Outcome: This phase marked the finalization of our CAREer Diary, which is set to be published in April 2025!! 😍📔✨ To ensure its impactful dissemination, we will hold three multiplier events in Italy, Estonia, and Spain between May and June, aimed at supporting youth in NEET to find their purpose and build resilient, meaningful careers. — 🙏🏻💖 We are incredibly proud to have successfully completed all mobilities within this project and are deeply grateful to our consortium partners and participants whose dedication made this phase of the CAREer project a success. Moclín, a small Andalusian village surrounded by lush green hills and crowned by a historic castle, served as the perfect setting for a youth exchange from October 1st to 10th. Participants from Greece, Cyprus, France, Italy, Portugal, Poland, and Spain came together to explore two main themes: the creative use of mobile phones for video production and reflecting on the environmental impact of technology. Coinciding with the traditional Romería del Cristo del Paño, the village came alive with a vibrant mix of learning, culture, and festivity. The project transformed the participants into environmental filmmakers. Divided into groups, they designed and filmed fictional videos blending creativity with ecological awareness. But that wasn’t all: the charm of Moclín and its Romería were also captured in reel format, showcasing the music and vibrant colors of the festival. And what about the behind-the-scenes moments? A making-of filled with laughter, funny bloopers, and unforgettable memories. Meanwhile, the stunning viewpoints and landscapes of the village offered boundless inspiration, and some participants even traded their scripts for a paddle racket during their free time. The experience extended far beyond filming and editing. Other highlights included the Gollizno hiking trail, cross-cultural conversations in the patio, activities designed to foster emotional connections, morning energizers, diving into local festivities, kitchen sessions, the childhood photo guessing game, and sunsets viewed from the hilltop viewpoints. CAREer is an 18-month-long project funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, under the KA2 framework. The project was born from the realization that many young people struggle with job crises and finding their life purpose, with a significant portion of the workforce dissatisfied with their current jobs. CAREer aims to support individuals in developing resilience and uncovering their true purpose to thrive in their chosen career paths. Kick Off meeting: EUnexus organized the Project CAREer Kick-off meeting at the Radisson Blu Olümpia Hotel in Tallinn from July 19-22, 2024, setting the foundation and vision for the project’s 18-month cycle. Project managers from EUnexus (Estonia), YOUth Connect (Italy), and El Eco del Arte (Spain) participated in the event. The primary goals were to initiate the project, establish objectives, draft an action plan, and assign roles and responsibilities to team members and stakeholders. During the three-day event, discussions focused on defining the project’s scope, setting timelines and deliverables, and creating communication strategies. For the next phase, CAREer foresees two youth worker mobilities (Training Courses) in Spain (December 2024) and Italy (February 2025), followed by three multiplier events in Estonia, Spain, and Italy in 2025. These events aim to create and test the tools and materials developed throughout the project. Over the course of the next 18 months, the project consortium will collaborate to develop a unique reflection tool designed to help NEET youth revitalize their careers and navigate towards fulfilling and meaningful employment opportunities where they truly belong. We are glad to announce that after the pandemic we are executing a new youth exchange in February 2022. Our last project was in Güevejar (a town very near to Granada, in the south of Spain) exactly 2 years before, in February 2020. We could enjoy with a great group a project about environment and photography.

Our @we.sound friends from Italy executed this marvelous project about connection with others where our participants spent a great week.
