Travel restrictions have forced many industries to adapt in order to succeed, including the film industry. The cinematographer Takuro Ishizaka and colorist Seiji Saito of the blockbuster Rurouni Kenshin film series explain how they were able to successfully adapt the production workflow to the new reality of working together remotely thanks to ColorEdge monitors and their remote calibration capabilities /solutions/casestudies/creative-work/rurouni-kenshin/ #colormanagement #calibration #HDR #Rurounikenshin #remoteworkflow

Photo by @michaelclarkphoto @jondevore of the Red Bull Air Force wingsuit B.A.S.E. jumping off a huge cliff in southwestern Utah. “Capturing this image required down climbing over the edge of the 3,000-foot cliff while roped up to a whole lot of nothing. There was literally only one second to capture this image as the BASE jumper drops into the canyon—after one second they are just a dot in the landscape below. For this entire three-day assignment I had a total of nine seconds to capture all of the action images, which made it pretty intense.” - Michael Clark Come hear the stories from this assignment and others in the Eizo Creative Mastermind Webinar on May 25th.

Photo by @michaelclarkphoto “Rafa Ortiz dropping over #spiritfallswashington while whitewater kayaking on the Little White Salmon river near White Salmon, Washington. This image is from an assignment back in 2017 where I used powerful strobes (aka big flashes) to light up this entire amphitheater where Rafa went over Spirit Falls 15 times in two days. Rafa is one of the world’s best kayakers and his commitment to this project helped us create some of the best images of my career so far. His mastery of his craft and ability to deal with risk combined to create magic. It took me years of lighting experience to make this i mage happen and of course a stellar #Eizo #monitor to bring it to life in the post-production.” #visualizedoneizo Swipe to see the photographer! ➡️ May 24th 11AM PST. “The Other Side of Fear” Creative Mastermind Webinar with Michael Clark Link to register in bio. #outdoorphotography #kayaking

In celebration of Earth Day Bears are paramount species. They play an important role in First Nations culture and are an important source of income for local stakeholders in terms of tourism and recreational activities. Bears help maintain a healthy ecosystem by scavenging on dead carcasses and helping keep herbivore populations such as deer and moose in balance. More importantly, some species of bears bridge the gap between the ocean and the forest. By catching fish and dragging salmon carcasses into the forest to eat, bears help fertilize the soil and enrich it with nitrogen. A healthy forest nurtures the ground, helps tree roots grow and provides shade for streams. Cool streams encourage the fish to return and reproduce each year. In the circle of life, everything is interconnected. Daisy

In celebration of Earth Day Antarctica is the coldest, driest and windiest continent in the world and at the same time one of the most important thermo regulators of the planet. Its ice sheet deflects sun’s rays, keeping temperature liveable. The white continent holds in its ice sheet 90% of the world’s fresh water. Protecting Antarctica means protecting the world and human kind from catastrophic events as the rise of sea level, hurricanes, draught and floods, just to name a few. Last but not least Antarctica is one of the world’s most important laboratories, which lock in its four kilometre-thick ice sheet the record of our planet’s climate over the past one million years. Studies of the ice core extracted from the ice sheet is essential to understand climate change and its consequences. I always think of Antarctica as a Planet on our Planet. It looks like everything stopped at the time of creation. Everything is in harmony, pristine and pure, probably because no humans ever colonized this continent. It is one of the few places on earth were animals are not scared of us, were penguins approach you to interact, where seals want to play with you and birds don’t fly away. It is a place of peace and science where you can reflect without any distraction from the outside world. Daisy #earthday #antarctica

Hi, I am @daisygilardini In honor of Earth Day, I’ll be taking over EIZO’s account. As a conservation photographer working in the Polar Regions for more than two decades, I am particularly sensitive to environmental industry policies. Being at the top of the game, you have to be wise and smart about your choices. It’s not always easy to find the perfect balance between cutting-edge technology-driven products and environmental sustainability. In the last few years I have partnered as an Ambassador with EIZO — the Japan-based “Rolls-Royce” of high-resolution video monitors — and it could not have been a better match. Not only the are the monitors the best professional self-calibrating monitors on the market for photographers, but the company ethos reflects real vision and a consciousness about environmental impact. While reading they sustainability policy I was impressed by their short and long term commitment that starts from the product development and applies to the all production process, expanding to distribution and ending with the collection and recycling of used products.
