Animated Films Curation | 15th February | 6:00 PM at Hauz by Shunya Hauz Talkies invites you to an evening of animated short films from across the world, curated by @eisprung Cornelia Gassler — a Switzerland-based material designer and researcher with a deep love for the poetry of animation. During her exchange at NID Ahmedabad, she shared a selection of her favourite Swiss animations. The programme is further enriched with recommendations by filmmaker @veronimon_monta Veronica L. Montaño (Evans Need). This screening will be facilitated by @guacamallu Pranav Holla, Dan K George @humiddragonslayer and Kritika Kaul @kaulsaab_ as part of Hauz Talkies — a film club initiative by Hauz by Shunya that brings together cinema, conversation, and community. Through curated screenings and open dialogue, we explore films as cultural texts, creative inspiration, and shared experiences. Für das Projekt «Teil- und Reintegrationen als Einzelfall?» wurden die Reintegrationen von sechs Kindern und Jugendlichen in verschiedenen Deutschschweizer Kantonen untersucht. Gemeinsam mit Federica Hofer entschieden wir uns, den sechs Kindern sechs verschiedene Farben zuzuordnen und die jeweiligen Illustrationen daran zu orientieren. Für die Charaktere hatte Vero keine Fotos oder Vorlagen. Einen Beschrieb, an dem sie sich orientieren konnte, hatte sie jedoch. Lustig und schön war es, dass bei der Präsentation einer der Elternteile zu Vero ging und ihr mitteilte, dass sie ihr Kind „haargenau“ getroffen hatte. ☺️✨ ————————-✨ For the project „Partial and Reintegration as an Individual Case?“, the reintegration of six children and adolescents in various Swiss-German cantons was studied. Together with Federica Hofer, we decided to assign six different colors to the six children and base the corresponding illustrations on them. For the characters, Vero had no photos or templates. However, she had a description to follow. Erster Part / first part 😊🌱 Wir durften für ein Forschungsprojekt der Pädagogischen Hochschule Luzern (@phluzern ) illustrieren. Im Forschungsprojekt „Teil- und Reintegration als Einzelfall?“, das am Institut für Diversität und inklusive Bildung (IDB) durchgeführt wurde, wurden sechs Reintegrationen aus verschiedenen Perspektiven untersucht. Die Ergebnisse sind in einfacher Sprache aufbereitet und bieten wertvolle Erkenntnisse zu unterstützenden und erschwerenden Bedingungen für die Realisierung inklusiver Bildung. Ein Teil des Projekts ist die Webseite teil-reintegration.ch. Diese wurde von @haldimannsimon aufgebaut, der dabei gekonnt unsere Illustrationen eingesetzt hat. :D Das Forschungsprojekt wird von Federica Hofer (@federica.hofer ) geleitet, geforscht und geführt. A project that was brought to us last year was the Augmented Reality project of the @aargauerkunsthaus in collaboration with the @fantoche_festival The tour with the Augmented Reality app leads visitors to the works, which come to life on the screen. The themes revolve around the tension between humanity and nature: they depict the landscape as both an untouched and simultaneously threatened place. This interdisciplinary project connects the past with the immediate present.” From the collection, we chose the painting „Ruine am Meer“ by Arnold Böcklin (1827–1901). The artist himself served as our inspiration. In addition to his masterful painting, he was apparently very interested in flying machines. Years later, we were able to fulfill Arnold Böcklin’s wish to fly. Audibly, we were once again able to rely on our in-house sound designer, @etiennekompis The exhibition was a great success 🫶🏼 The response was so overwhelming that the museum decided to show the works online as well. Those who missed the exhibition now have another chance to view our work and that of all the other contributors to the exhibition. Check it out @aargauerkunsthaus website 😍✨
