Crisp white plus warm wood tones. Every detail matters and makes this home feel modern, yet unique and inviting. Design: @tarabakerdesign

Instead of building a larger home on this property, Jennifer and Lars decided to rebuild the existing one room cabin with a more spacious design and many indoor-outdoor options. The storage is functional and beautiful and every room has a different view of the surrounding landscape. @larsarchitects for Sonoma Magazine . . . . . .#indooroutdoorliving #winecountrystyle #winecountrydesign #indooroutdoor #interiordesign

Nestled on Mount Veeder, Progeny Winery pairs Bordeaux-style wines with modern architecture and a low-water, year-round landscape. Coast Live Oaks, grasses, and succulents frame the vineyard views, creating a quiet, elegant setting for tasting and enjoying the land. @progenywinery Landscape Architecture @rocheandroche

Books, vinyl, and a Chicago-jazz pulse. The library draws on the quiet restraint of All Souls College Library in Oxford, with classic bones that still feel modern. Thoughtfully designed by @avcodesign

Auteur has a stunning new location at Russian River. We had this incredible bright afternoon in late summer, but imagine sitting by the fireplace in the fog or the rain. Add this to your holiday wine tasting tour!

At Windhorse Orchard, Jason and Kristin Nichols are building toward the Passive House and Living Building Challenge certifications: two of the world’s most demanding sustainability standards, where every material, watt, and drop of water is accounted for. From reclaimed wood decks to greywater systems and sheep’s wool insulation, their process is as thoughtful as it is ambitious. This home is a work in progress, but if I’ve learned anything the last few years, all the best ones always are.

BTS with @potterybarn 🛶 For the perfect shot of pillows in a canoe, we really needed to be directly overhead (while teathered to the digi cart, mind you). We put the boat in the water and used fishing line to bring it under the dock. I hung the tripod off the side of the dock and sat on it while the team fluffed pillows with sticks from the deck. 😝A bit chaotic, pretty entertaining, definitely worth it. Huge thank you to the awesome team who helped bring this together: @poppycreative @johncostellostudio @philippa_nyc @radamprieto @vadephotography @atwood_photo @rocheandroche @heididewell and the entire production team!
