Okay I'm welling up honestly trying to find the words to explain how much this set means to me. I just can't really believe that's me.. you know? And I - no, we @raw photography (It wont let me tag damn you facebook.) created this. We really did that, you know!? You guys might not find this as impressive as I do but I KNOW how much work went into these shots. The creators that made this costume over at @kyokyodesigns and the wig creator who made it perfectly how I wanted at @nomes_cosplay and the staff creator who's page I'll have to locate and edit this with!! They all just did everything so perfectly and I'm so happy. This idea and story board really is a dream come true. Anyone who knows me knows how much this character means to me and doing this has brought me so much happiness I feel I could retire cosplay tomorrow and be content! (I wont though, lol!) Thankyou so so much to Darren from @raw_photography_uk who put up with everything I asked for, and replicated everything as perfectly as possible whilst also keeping the images authentic and original. He also drove me all the way to the location, did so so much research and spent hours editing these with all the things I asked for! I swear at some points he was probably wanting to pull his hair out with the things I was asking for!! Anyone who is a final fantasy vii fan will (Hopefully!!) recognize this set from the game! Finally got around to 1) making a comfy cosplay with pockets & 2) trying it on in a timely manner. Here is my Sophie test from #clairobscurexpedition33 !!! After going to the painted symphony concerto, I was absolutely inspired to crack on with another cosplay from this gorgeous series. I’m so grateful for what it has brought to me, aaand I think this might not be the last character I do! Besides that, I’m also going to be picking away at a Verso & a Gustave cosplay for some loved ones once I find the time! Now that ive recharged from the weekend, DreamHack was a BLAST. Was an absolutely amazing experience to be selected as one of the ten people to compete in the ‘’Artisan’’ category, and we were treated really well by all the team involved! BIIIIG congrats to all the winners from across all 3 categories, the craftsmanship displayed at this event was INSAAAANE!!! The vibes backstage were awesome and I’m feeling very inspired for my next projects and next competitions! Special big thanks to my partner in crime and best handler @jhfizzikal , who not only showed me all the kindness, patience and grace in the world over the weekend but actually made a big effort to help other cosplayers out in the lounge too 😭💙 Thankyou to the photographers @brookie9001 @ameliacarvellphotography @yorkie.shots & @ohnoitsjadephotography who worked so hard to capture everyone’s aura on stage perfectly and treated us with DELIGHTFUL footage afterwards!! && finally a wee little shout out to both @jessikerrcosplay & @twistedsisterscosplay who both made the backstage vibes so welcoming and fun while we were waiting nervously!
