Some weeks ago, we launched the Education Research Forum (ERF) 2022 Essay Competition. The essay topic was “Education in Crisis: Challenges, Prospects, and Innovative Approaches for Advancing Higher Education in Africa”
We received several entries from various educators, researchers, students, etc. As a team, we were dazed by the volume and quality of the entries that we received this year. Excited for the incredible education researchers that has made it to the final.
Tomorrow, our 10 finalists will battle it out at the Education Research Forum 2022 with #250,000 up for grabs. Tomorrow is the GRAND FINALE of the ERF 2022 Essay Competition.

On Tuesday, 26th November 2024, I had the honour of speaking at the Going Global Africa 2024 in Abuja, Nigeria. This event brought together 300+ higher education leaders from 20+ countries in Africa, and the UK.
Not only was this a very important and timely conference, being a keynote speaker in the “opening plenary” in the presence of VCs, DVCs, PVCs, Founders, Funders, Ministers, etc, as well as being a voice for the millions of young people across the continent of Africa is such a rare privilege that I do not take for granted.
While preparing for this session, I said to my friend that all my life’s work, education, and experiences, have brought me to this point. And that this 7minutes speech (as well as my contributions at the various panels that I graced) would attest to how much I have invested in myself over the years.

We had a great time training staff members of Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State, Nigeria on "Rethinking Institutional Advancement in Nigerian Universities" with AAUA in focus.
For this bespoke training, we welcomed delegates from the advancement office, alumni association, bursary department, personnel/human resource department, and the student affairs unit. It was such a brilliant engagement that allowed us to delve into the world of institutional advancement and the roles of university personnel in ensuring overall success.
The group activities were both tailored to the various offices represented and dynamic enough to facilitate cross-cutting collaboration. At Edvant Edge Africa, we are committed to ensuring that participants contribute to the learning process.
